India Development Center Software Development Engineer in Test Location: India, Hyderabad Do you want to work on some of the coolest products from Microsoft? Are you excited about being part of the mobile revolution and building exciting technologies and applications enabling new mobile user scenarios? The Mobile Devices team is looking for a strong and passionate individual to own portions of the developer test platform for both Pocket PC and SmartPhone products. Areas of concentration include, but are not limited to, productivity applications and platforms for the next generation Windows Mobile devices. Your job duties will include designing and developing test plans, automation, cases, reports, harnesses, and more. You will need to have the ability to design, develop and program test case automation tools in C#. You will also be required to test on all kinds of devices including PDA's, SmartPhones, and of course any cool new devices that come out in the future. You will be also be responsible for defining the exit criteria and also measuring the quality during the product cycle for your area or components. You will work closely with program management and development teams and will be an active part in the decision process for your component. We are seeking talented, self-motivated individuals with strong coding, designing, testing and good communication. The candidate needs to be passionate about building high quality products, have strong problem solving and be driven for results. The candidate must be proficient in C/C++/C#. A BS or higher degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 2+ years of software testing and development experience encompassing at least one full product cycle is required. Prior experience in mobile or embedded environment, COM, Windows Programming, Windows CE development or knowledge or file formats and graphics are a definite plus.
